  • 1 cup chopped pecans Finely chopped for even distribution
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional powdered sugar for dusting For serving

For the dough

  • 1 can crescent roll dough Any brand will work

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  • Open the can of crescent roll dough and lay it flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Separate the triangles.

Assembly

  • Spoon a small amount of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
  • Starting at the wide end, roll the dough towards the tip to form a crescent shape, making sure the filling is enclosed.

Baking

  • Place the filled crescent rolls onto the baking sheet, ensuring they have some space between them.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Serving

  • Once baked, let them cool for a few minutes, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, chop pecans finely, don’t overfill the rolls, and check oven temperature accuracy. Experiment with adding cinnamon or nutmeg to the filling for a unique twist.
