Add in the light brown sugar and mix until everything is well combined. Now, crack in the eggs and pour in the vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking soda. Gradually add this dry mix to the wet ingredients, stirring until everything is just combined.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips until they are evenly spread throughout the batter.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish, making sure it’s nice and flat.
Bake in your preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes. The edges should be golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.
