Ingredients
  

For the Mushrooms

  • 16 ounces Mushrooms, cleaned and halved Button or cremini mushrooms work well.
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • for garnish Fresh Parsley, optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Clean the mushrooms under cold water and pat them dry. Cut them in half for even cooking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and olive oil. Whisk together until well mixed.
  • Add the cleaned mushrooms to the bowl and toss them in the soy-honey mixture until they are well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mushrooms to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spread out in a single layer for even roasting.

Cooking

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are golden brown and tender. Stir halfway through for even cooking.

Serving

  • Once roasted, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or a skillet for best results. For freezing, ensure they cool completely and lay them flat in a freezer bag.
