Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper until it forms a paste.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  • Place the seasoned chicken thighs, skin-side up, on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • For an extra crispy skin, broil on high for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley and serving.

Notes

Tips: Let the chicken rest after cooking to allow juices to redistribute, experiment with flavors by swapping out herbs and spices, and avoid crowding on the baking sheet for even browning.
