Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, crush the Oreo cookies until they resemble coarse crumbs.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the mini marshmallows with a splash of water until they become a gooey, sticky mixture, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  • Remove the melted marshmallows from heat. Quickly add in the Rice Krispies and the crushed Oreos. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  • Lay the mixture out on a piece of parchment paper. Press it into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Spread Nutella or chocolate spread over the top, leaving a small border around the edges. Layer on the sliced fruit.

Rolling and Serving

  • Using the parchment paper, carefully roll the mixture into a log, similar to sushi. Roll tightly but gently to maintain the shape.
  • Let the roll cool for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
  • Sprinkle sliced almonds on top for added crunch.

Notes

If you're short on time, prepare the cookie mixture a day ahead and keep it covered in the refrigerator. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not freeze to maintain texture.
