Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened, around 3-5 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Add ground turkey to the pot, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, around 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Stir in cellentani pasta and ensure it’s submerged in the liquid.
  • Cover the pot and let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 10-12 minutes until the pasta is al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Let it cook for another 3 minutes to thicken.
  • Turn off the heat and stir in grated cheese until melted and combined.
  • Scoop portions into bowls, garnish with additional cheese or herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Leftover One-Pot Ground Turkey Cellentani Pasta can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. To reheat, add a splash of chicken broth or cream to prevent dryness.
