  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling

  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup strawberry jam (optional for a shiny finish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  • Pour the filling over the prepared crust and spread it evenly. Smooth the top with a spatula, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  • Before serving, arrange the sliced strawberries on top. If desired, warm the strawberry jam slightly and brush it over the berries for a beautiful finish.
  • Cut into bars and enjoy your delightful creation!

Notes

For best results, use room temperature cream cheese and fresh, ripe strawberries. Allow adequate chilling time for the best texture.
