No Bake Peach Yum Yum

Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted

For the cream mixture

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping thawed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the fruit layers

  • 3 cups fresh peaches peeled and sliced (canned peaches can also be used)
  • Extra peaches for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation of Crust

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are thoroughly coated and resemble wet sand.
  • Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even layer. Set aside.

Making the Cream Mixture

  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  • Add in the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  • Fold in the whipped topping gently to maintain its airy texture.

Assembling the Layers

  • Spread half of the creamy mixture over the graham cracker crust evenly.
  • Layer sliced peaches on top of the cream.
  • Pour the remaining cream mixture over the peaches, spreading evenly.
  • Finish with another layer of sliced peaches on top.

Chilling and Serving

  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  • Once set, slice into squares, top with extra peaches if desired, and serve chilled.
  • Add a dollop of whipped topping for extra flair.

Notes

Choose the ripest peaches for the best flavor. This dessert can be made a day ahead for the best results.
