  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce Provides depth of flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup Used in the mixture and for topping.
  • 1 tablespoon Dried thyme Adds aromatic flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano Enhances flavor profile.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, chopped onion, bell pepper, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Spread a layer of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.

Cooking

  • Place the loaf in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Once done, let it sit for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender. You can grate vegetables like zucchini or carrots to enhance moisture. Leftovers can be repurposed into sandwiches or salads.
