Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound gnocchi Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a luscious sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated For depth
  • 2 cups spinach, fresh or frozen For a pop of color
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning

Instructions

Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float to the surface, usually around 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Stir in the spinach and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the spinach has wilted, about 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet. Gently toss to coat the gnocchi in the creamy sauce until heated through.
  • Plate your millionaire gnocchi and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs for an extra touch.

Notes

Don’t overcook the gnocchi; they should be tender but not mushy. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Feel free to experiment with add-ins like cherry tomatoes or cooked shrimp. If you have leftovers, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, use a skillet over medium heat and add a splash of cream or milk.
