  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled Use high-quality feta for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Kalamata olives, chopped

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 large egg, beaten

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, feta cheese, chopped olives, parsley, minced garlic, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and the beaten egg. Mix everything together until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • With wet hands, take about 1/4 cup of the mixture and form it into a patty shape. Repeat this until all the mixture is shaped into patties.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, carefully add the patties to the skillet.
  • Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serving

  • Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest on a paper towel-lined plate before serving. Pair with tzatziki sauce, fresh cucumber, or a simple salad for a complete meal.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. These patties can be paired with various sides like Greek Salad, roasted vegetables, or couscous. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
