Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and matcha powder. Use an electric mixer to whip it until you achieve soft peaks.

Assembly

  • Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled green tea. Be careful not to soak them too long, or they will become soggy!
  • In a dish, layer half of the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the matcha cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Repeat the process, adding another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining cream mixture. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Chilling

  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let those flavors meld beautifully.

Serving

  • Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder or a sprinkle of matcha powder for a stunning presentation!

Notes

Choose quality matcha for the best flavor. Be gentle when mixing to preserve the texture. Customize with fruits or nuts as desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3 days.
