Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into sliders (about 2-3 inches in diameter).

Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the turkey bacon. Cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add a splash of oil if necessary, and cook the chicken patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • In the last minute of cooking, drizzle maple syrup over each patty, allowing it to caramelize slightly.

Assembly

  • Place a chicken patty on each slider bun. Top with a slice of crispy turkey bacon, lettuce, and tomato.

Serve

  • Serve warm and watch your family devour these delicious sliders!

Notes

Substitutions: If you don’t have ground chicken, feel free to use turkey or even a mix of both! Just keep it Halal. Timing: Don’t rush the cooking of the chicken patties. Allow them to brown nicely, and ensure they cook thoroughly for the best texture. Avoiding Common Mistakes: Taking the time to prepare and season your ingredients before cooking will enhance the overall flavor. Also, check the doneness of the chicken with a meat thermometer to avoid undercooking or overcooking. If you have leftovers, store the sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the cooked patties individually wrapped for up to 2 months.
