  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the plain yogurt, eggs, and vanilla extract until homogenous.
  • Gradually add the sugar and vegetable oil to the mixture, whisk until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Slowly sift the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and gently fold until no flour clumps remain.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
