Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob Select fresh corn with bright green husks and plump kernels.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Use high-quality olive oil for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper Adjust to taste for spiciness.
  • 1 zest of lemon Adds bright flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best results.
  • to taste pinch salt Season as desired.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by husking the corn. Remove all the silk and break off any excess stalks. Rinse well under running water to remove any remaining silk.

Mixing the Seasoning

  • In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, cracked black pepper, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

Coating the Corn

  • Brush or rub the lemon pepper mixture generously over each ear of corn. Make sure to cover all sides to ensure an even flavor.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes before adding the corn.
  • Place the seasoned corn in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, turning the corn halfway through the cooking time.

Serving

  • Once the corn is perfectly charred and tender, remove it from the air fryer and serve hot, perhaps with an extra sprinkle of lemon zest or more black pepper if you like!

Notes

Store leftovers wrapped in aluminum foil or in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
