  • 1 can 1 can (5-6 oz) of tuna, drained Choose your favorite tuna.
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite) Optional cheese variations can enhance flavor.
  • 1 large 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup almond flour Use as a keto-friendly binder.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon mayonnaise Adds creaminess.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon garlic powder For added flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Chopped green onions or herbs for additional flavor

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients on a clean surface.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, shredded cheese, egg, almond flour, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • With clean hands, form the mixture into small patties, about 1 to 2 inches in diameter.

Cooking

  • In a non-stick skillet, add a little cooking oil or butter over medium heat.
  • Carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Once cooked through, remove the patties from the skillet and serve them hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave when ready to eat.
