  • 1 pound Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese A blend like mozzarella and cheddar works well.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they become pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and add the softened cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
  • Stir in the shredded cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese, allowing them to melt completely into the creamy mixture.
  • Add the sautéed shrimp back into the skillet and mix well to coat them in the cheesy sauce.
  • Transfer the mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, choose medium to large shrimp. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and consider adding sautéed vegetables for extra flavor and nutrition.
