  • 1 lb chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
  • 8 oz cream cheese Cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • sliced green onions For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker or Instant Pot.
  • Cut the cream cheese into small cubes and place it on top of the chicken.
  • Pour the ranch seasoning and chicken broth over the chicken and cream cheese.

Cooking

  • For the slow cooker, set the temperature on low and cook for 6-8 hours, or on high for around 4 hours.
  • If using an Instant Pot, cook on high pressure for 10 minutes and allow for natural release.

Finishing Touches

  • Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks, mixing it into the creamy sauce.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it’s beautifully melted and well combined.
  • Spoon the mixture into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently, adding a splash of chicken broth to maintain creaminess.
