Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons amaretto syrup (non-alcoholic)
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, letting the edges hang over for easy removal later.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and amaretto syrup until fully incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the chopped pistachios, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the fudge mixture.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, smoothing it out with a spatula. Use a little extra pistachio crumble to sprinkle on top for decoration if desired.
  • Cover and refrigerate for about 2-3 hours, or until the fudge has completely set.
  • Once set, lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut it into squares and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For best results, store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months. Serve with vanilla ice cream or espresso for an enhanced experience.
