Ingredients
  

Chicken and Sauce

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

Cheese and Toppings

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded) divided
  • 1/2 cup green onions (chopped) for garnish

Vegetables

  • 1 cup frozen broccoli (optional) can be omitted if not desired

Seasoning

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the softened cream cheese and ranch seasoning mix until well-blended and creamy.
  • Stir in the broccoli (if using), half of the cheddar cheese, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.

Baking

  • Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped green onions on top before serving.

Notes

For best results, consider using rotisserie chicken if you don't have shredded chicken. Check the casserole regularly while baking as oven temperatures may vary.
