Ingredients
  

For the Breading

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornmeal
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

For the Pickles

  • 2 cups Dill Pickles, sliced or spears
  • for air frying Cooking Spray Use to spray the air fryer basket

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Drain the dill pickle slices and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In one bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, mix the beaten eggs and buttermilk.

Breading

  • Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.
  • Then dip it into the egg mixture and return it to the flour mixture for a second coat.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the breaded pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  • Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces, such as ranch, spicy mayo, or zesty dill dip.

Notes

For thicker slices, adjust cooking time as necessary. Experiment with spices for added flavor. Store leftover pickles in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer.
