Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sausage, sliced Juicy beef sausage for the sliders.
  • 1 lb chicken breasts, diced Can be substituted with turkey or plant-based sausage.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose seasoning
  • 1/2 cup honey Use as a base for the hot honey sauce.
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers or onions For sautéing as topping.
  • 12 pieces slider buns Soft buns to hold the slider filling.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, season the diced chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, and all-purpose seasoning. Make sure each piece is evenly coated.

Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add a small amount of oil and let it warm up.
  • Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until fully cooked and no longer pink inside. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced beef sausage and cook for another 5-7 minutes until browned and heated through.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the honey over low heat until warm, then add the cooked chicken and sausages, stirring to coat them evenly.
  • Add the sliced bell peppers or onions to the skillet and sauté until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Assembly

  • Cut the slider buns in half and place a generous scoop of the honey-coated chicken and sausage mixture on one half.
  • Top with sautéed vegetables and close with the other half of the buns.

Serving

  • Plate your Hot Honey Sliders and serve warm. Enjoy with family and friends!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes. Freeze for later use but be sure to thaw overnight before reheating.
