Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 pound Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless For easier cooking
  • 1/3 cup Honey For that perfect touch of sweetness
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha Sauce To bring in the heat
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Adds depth and savory flavor
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced For aromatic greatness
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For sautéing

Garnishes (optional)

  • to taste Sesame Seeds For a delightful crunch
  • to taste Green Onions, chopped For freshness to finish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to achieve a nice sear later. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, pour the honey sriracha mixture over it, ensuring to coat the chicken evenly. Allow it to simmer for about 2-3 minutes, letting the sauce thicken.

Serving

  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired. Serve hot with rice or your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For chicken types, feel free to use thighs instead of breasts for a juicier option. Adjust sriracha to suit your taste preference. Marinate for 30 minutes before cooking for enhanced flavor, and watch cooking time to ensure chicken remains tender and juicy. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
