  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped Use fresh spinach for best flavor.
  • 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Should be at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Divided into two portions.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Optional for added flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A squeeze of lemon juice Optional for brightness.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
  • Fold in the chopped spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, minced garlic, half the mozzarella cheese, and the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
  • Spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving warm with tortilla chips, bread, or fresh veggies.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes or microwave small portions, checking every 30 seconds.
