  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 2 large eggs for breading

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika on both sides.
  • In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, mix the Panko breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.

Coating and Baking

  • Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
  • Coat the chicken in the Panko mixture, pressing the crumbs onto the surface to ensure they adhere well.
  • Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray or drizzle olive oil over the top for an extra crispy finish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute regular Panko with gluten-free breadcrumbs. You can also experiment with different herbs and spices for unique flavors.
