  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant and the onions are translucent.
  • Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned.
  • Stir in the sliced bell peppers and soy sauce.
  • Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the peppers are tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the ground turkey in soy sauce, garlic, and a bit of ginger for an hour before cooking. You can add other vegetables like broccoli, carrots, or snap peas. Adjust the soy sauce based on taste preference, and add recovery ingredients like hoisin sauce for sweetness.
