Ingredients
  

  • 1 unbaked pie crust store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare Pie Crust:
  • Place the unbaked pie crust into a pie dish, trimming and crimping the edges as needed.
  • Make the Brownie Filling:
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add the cocoa powder, flour, and salt, and mix until combined.
  • Whisk in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Assemble the Pie:
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pie crust, spreading it out evenly.
  • Bake:
  • Place the pie dish on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Cool and Serve:
  • Allow the pie to cool on a cooling rack for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving. The pie will set as it cools, creating a gooey center.
