Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 ounces chorizo (diced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste (adjust to taste)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Instructions

Cooking Gnocchi

  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Once they float to the surface (about 2-3 minutes), drain and set aside.

Sautéing Chorizo and Garlic

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the diced chorizo. Cook until it becomes crispy and golden, about 5 minutes. Stir frequently to ensure even cooking.
  • Once the chorizo is cooked, add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for another minute until fragrant.

Preparing the Sauce

  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Add the harissa paste, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the drained gnocchi to the skillet, gently stirring to coat them in your creamy harissa sauce. Let it cook for another minute or so for the flavors to meld.

Serving

  • Plate your gnocchi and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy your delightful dish while it's warm!
