Garlic Toast Pizzas

Garlic Toast Pizzas are a delightfully crispy and flavorful twist on traditional pizza, topped with your favorite ingredients on a base of garlicky toast.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices of Texas toast garlic bread
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni optional
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms optional
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers optional
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives optional
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Prepare the Garlic Toast:
  • Arrange the slices of Texas toast garlic bread on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the garlic bread in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until it starts to get crispy.
  • Assemble the Pizzas:
  • Remove the garlic bread from the oven and spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each slice.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Add your favorite toppings, such as pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, and black olives.
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and dried basil.
  • Bake the Pizzas:
  • Return the assembled garlic toast pizzas to the oven.
  • Bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
