Ingredients

Steak and Marinade Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (your choice: sirloin works well) Tender cuts like sirloin or ribeye are recommended.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Potato Ingredients

  • 2 cups baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For tossing with potatoes.

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley to taste chopped For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for crispy potatoes.
  • In a bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast the potatoes for about 20-25 minutes or until golden and tender.

Marinate Steak

  • While the potatoes are roasting, cut the steak into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, remaining olive oil, soy sauce, and a dash of salt and pepper. Add the steak pieces and let them marinate for about 10 minutes.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steak bites in a single layer.
  • Cook for about 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway through, until browned and cooked to desired doneness.

Serving

  • Once the steak and potatoes are ready, combine them on a serving platter.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a lovely touch of color and flavor.

Notes

For best results, allow steak to marinate longer and cut pieces uniformly for even cooking. Pair with a fresh salad or roasted vegetables.
