  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh, high-quality shrimp recommended.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Divided into two portions for mixing and topping.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Can substitute with other herbs.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: breadcrumbs for topping Adds a crispy texture.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, approximately 3-4 minutes. Season them with salt and pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, half of the Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
  • Fold the cooked shrimp into the cream mixture until well coated.
  • Pour the shrimp and cream mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese on top. Optionally, add breadcrumbs.

Baking

  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve hot.

Notes

For perfect results, use fresh shrimp and avoid overcooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze before baking for up to 2 months.
