Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown on both sides (about 5-7 minutes per side).
  • Once the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F), reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic to the skillet. Stir for about a minute or until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Allow it to melt into the sauce, creating a creamy, indulgent topping for your chicken.
  • Plate the chicken and drizzle the sauce generously over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For optimal flavor, use fresh garlic instead of powdered garlic. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of chicken broth or water to adjust the consistency. This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables, rice, or a light salad.
