Cheese Mixture

  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened goat cheese with minced garlic, parsley, chives, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Transfer the cheese mixture onto a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap, and shape it into a log.
  • Wrap the log tightly and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Serving

  • Remove the log from the wrap and place it on a serving platter.
  • Roll it in chopped nuts for added flavor, if desired.
  • Serve with an assortment of crackers, sliced baguette, or fresh vegetables. Drizzle honey or top with dried fruit, if preferred.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. Let sit for 15 minutes before serving to regain creaminess.
