Cuisine American
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 lb baby potatoes halved
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
Prepare the ingredients by washing and halving the baby potatoes and cutting the steak into bite-sized pieces, then season with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat, add the halved potatoes and cover the skillet, then cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are tender and golden brown on the outside.
Push the potatoes to one side of the skillet and add the steak pieces, then cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring to sear all sides for a deliciously browned crust.
Once the steak is cooked to your liking, add the minced garlic and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, then toss everything together for about 1-2 minutes, until the garlic is fragrant.
Remove from heat, sprinkle chopped parsley over the dish, and serve immediately for a warm, hearty meal.
