  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional for a bit of heat.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Fresh herbs add freshness and color.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to personal preference.
  • Juice of 1 lemon Fresh lemon juice enhances the flavor.
  • to serve Cooked pasta (spaghetti or linguine) Use your choice of pasta.

Preparation

  • Thoroughly rinse and pat dry the shrimp with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for approximately 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice into the skillet and stir in the chopped parsley, coating the shrimp evenly with the butter and garlic sauce.
  • Toss the shrimp and sauce over your cooked pasta, mixing gently to combine.

Serving

  • Garnish with extra parsley if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, choose the freshest shrimp you can find and avoid overcooking. You can store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
