Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season and Cook the Chicken Bites
In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and set aside.
Prepare the Creamy Parmesan Sauce
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add nutmeg (if using) and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve
Add the cooked pasta to the creamy parmesan sauce and toss to coat.
Serve the pasta on plates or bowls, topped with the garlic butter chicken bites. Garnish with extra parsley and parmesan if desired.
