  • 8 ounces bowtie pasta Cook according to package instructions
  • 1 pound ground beef Use fresh beef for best flavor
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter For a rich buttery flavor

Seasonings and Garnish

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Boil a large pot of salted water. Once boiling, add the bowtie pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Beef

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into smaller pieces as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper and cook until fully done, about 5-7 minutes.

Making the Sauce

  • Reduce the heat to low and add the unsalted butter to the skillet with the beef. Allow it to melt, then stir in the minced garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the drained bowtie pasta to the skillet with the beef and garlic butter. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated.

Serving

  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat with a tablespoon of butter or a splash of water to refresh flavors.
