Funfetti Ice Cream Cake

Ingredients
For the Cake
- 1 box Funfetti cake mix Plus ingredients for cake as per package instructions
- ½ cup colorful sprinkles More can be used for decoration
For the Ice Cream Layer
- 1 quart your favorite ice cream Vanilla, chocolate, or any other variety
For the Frosting
- 1 cup whipped topping Halal-friendly if needed
- 1 cup cream cheese Softened
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar

Instructions
Baking the Cake
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on your Funfetti cake mix box.
- Prepare the cake batter as directed, adding in the colorful sprinkles to the mix.
- Pour the batter into two 9-inch round cake pans and bake as recommended.
- Allow cooling completely.
Prepare the Ice Cream Layer
- While the cake cools, let your chosen ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes to make it scoopable.
Layering the Cake
- Once the cake is cool, place one layer on a serving plate or cake stand.
- Spread a thick layer of ice cream on top of the first cake layer, smoothing it out evenly.
- Carefully place the second layer of cake on top.
Frosting the Cake
- In a bowl, combine the whipped topping, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar. Mix until fluffy and evenly blended.
