Ingredients
  

For the Fruit Salsa

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced Make sure they are ripe.
  • 1 cup fresh kiwi, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup fresh apples, peeled and diced Use your favorite variety.
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced Preferably ripe.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Adjust according to sweetness preference.
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Freshly squeezed for the best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, chopped Optional, for added flavor.

For the Cinnamon Crisps

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted For brushing on the tortillas.

Preparation

  • Wash and dice the strawberries, kiwi, apples, and pineapple into small, uniform pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced fruits. Add honey and lime juice, gently stirring until well incorporated.
  • If using mint, fold in the chopped leaves for added flavor.

Baking Cinnamon Crisps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  • Brush the flour tortillas lightly with melted butter on one side, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered side.
  • Cut the tortillas into triangles and place them on a baking sheet, cinnamon side up.
  • Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until they’re golden and crispy.
  • Allow the cinnamon crisps to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, choose fruits that are in season. Feel free to mix in other fruits like berries or mangoes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days.
