Ingredients

Crust

  • 24 pieces Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional for topping)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Stir until well mixed and resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate to form the crust. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy and smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully combined to create a light and airy filling.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes or until it thickens. Gently fold this chocolate pudding mixture into the cream cheese filling until fully incorporated.
  • Pour the chocolate cream filling over the prepared Oreo crust. Spread it evenly and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Cover the pie with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
  • Once frozen, slice the pie into servings and drizzle with melted chocolate or sprinkle chocolate chips on top for an extra treat. Enjoy your delightful dessert!

Notes

To elevate your experience, use dairy-free cream cheese for a Halal-friendly option. Make the pie a day in advance for the best texture. Ensure your cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth filling.
