Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Layer

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • pinch salt

For the Ice Cream Layer

  • 4 cups your favorite ice cream (softened slightly) Choose any preferred flavor
  • Optional mix-ins (such as chocolate chips, nuts, or cookie pieces) Customize according to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar, mixing until well blended. Stir in eggs and vanilla extract.
  • Add cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.

Baking

  • Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9-inch springform pan, smoothing it out evenly.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely.

Ice Cream Layer

  • Once the brownies are cooled, gently spread your softened ice cream over the brownie layer.
  • If using mix-ins, sprinkle them evenly across the ice cream layer. Smooth it out with a spatula.

Freezing

  • Cover the cake with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until fully set.

Serving

  • When ready to serve, remove the cake from the springform pan and let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly.
  • Slice and enjoy your creamy, delicious creation!

Notes

Store in the freezer, tightly wrapped in cling film or aluminum foil to prevent freezer burn. It should stay fresh for up to 2 weeks.
