  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease your doughnut pan lightly with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  • Gently pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Use a piping bag to fill each doughnut mold about halfway.

Baking

  • Place your doughnut pan in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow the doughnuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack.

Serving

  • Dust the cooled doughnuts with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Make it Halal-friendly by using suitable butter. Don't overmix to keep them fluffy. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days or refrigerate for a week. Freeze for up to 2 months and reheat before serving.
