  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Adds flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For cooking.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor.
  • 2 green onions, chopped For garnish.

Cooking Rice

  • Cook the jasmine rice according to the package instructions. Fluff it with a fork and set aside to cool slightly.

Preparing Shrimp

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Toss in the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Stir-Frying Vegetables

  • In the same skillet, add the mixed vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender yet crisp.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the cooked rice to the skillet along with the shrimp, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir everything together well for another 2-3 minutes, allowing it to heat through.

Garnishing and Serving

  • Finally, sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving and enjoy your vibrant dish while hot.

Notes

Use day-old rice for better texture. Stir-fry over high heat to lock in flavors. Customize with any protein or veggies as desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
