  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped Frozen, thawed shrimp works well.
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened Helps bind the filling together.
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs Adds texture to the filling.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Can be substituted with other herbs.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Enhances flavor freshness.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Optional: add more for a garlic-forward flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to preference.
  • for drizzling Olive oil Helps keep the salmon moist.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper, mixing thoroughly until well combined.
  • Place salmon fillets on a cutting board and carefully cut a pocket into each fillet for filling.
  • Generously stuff each salmon pocket with the crab and shrimp filling.
  • Place the stuffed salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle olive oil over the top.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a refreshing side salad, steamed asparagus, or wild rice. For a beverage, a chilled glass of white wine pairs beautifully.
