- 1 package Oreo cookies 15.5 oz
- 1 package cream cheese 8 oz, softened
- 1 cup chocolate candy coating white, milk, or dark
- Assorted sprinkles or candy for decoration
Crush the Oreos by placing the Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them into fine crumbs, or use a food processor if you have one handy.
In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese and use a spatula or your hands to mix until well blended.
Once the mixture is fully combined, use your hands to shape it into egg-shaped balls about 1 inch in size and place the shaped balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Refrigerate the egg-shaped cookie balls for about 15-20 minutes, allowing them to firm up a bit.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate candy coating according to package instructions and dip each chilled cookie ball into the melted chocolate and place it back on the parchment sheet.
Before the coating hardens, sprinkle the tops with your desired candy or sprinkles for a festive touch.
Allow the cookie balls to chill in the fridge again until the chocolate is set.
