Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 4 pieces plain or whole wheat bagels, halved
  • 1 cup pizza sauce, store-bought or homemade

Toppings

  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
  • 0.25 cups grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the bagels in half, and arrange them cut-side up on a baking sheet.

Assembly

  • Generously spread a tablespoon of pizza sauce onto each bagel half.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Layer a few slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  • Sprinkle with dried oregano and grated Parmesan cheese if using.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool for a minute before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in a preheated oven or microwave.
