  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavor.

Optional Toppings

Instructions

Preparation

  • If your dates are not soft, soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften. Drain them thoroughly before use.
  • In a food processor, add the softened dates, rolled oats, nut butter, cocoa powder, and salt. Blend until the mixture is well combined and forms a sticky dough.
  • If you’re including chopped nuts, fold them into the mixture using a spatula or spoon until evenly distributed.
  • Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls or flatten them into cookie shapes on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Place the tray in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to allow the cookies to firm up.
  • Once set, your delicious no-bake cookies are ready to enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

Ensure your dates are fresh and moist for the best texture. Feel free to customize with mix-ins like dried fruits. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness; they should last up to a week in the fridge.
