  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use semi-sweet or dark chocolate for richer flavor.
  • 1 cup almond flour Or use oat flour as a gluten-free alternative.
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder For a deep chocolate flavor.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Honey for non-vegan or maple syrup for vegan options.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 15-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, combine almond flour, cacao powder, and salt. Gently stir until well combined.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into the dry mixture, add honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are fully combined and a thick dough forms.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for about 10 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  • Once cooled, remove the mixture from the fridge. Using your hands, take small portions of the dough and roll them into bite-sized balls.
  • Place the formed brownie bites on a tray lined with parchment paper and return them to the refrigerator for at least an hour to set.
  • Once set, serve these delicious brownie bites chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for up to a month. Allow frozen bites to thaw before enjoying. Also, ensure all ingredients comply with dietary restrictions.
