  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract Adjust based on taste preference.
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until creamy and light.
  • Add the vanilla extract and peppermint extract into the mixture, stirring well to combine.
  • Gradually add the all-purpose flour, mixing until just combined.
  • Gently fold the mini chocolate chips into the dough, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  • Using your hands, roll the dough into small balls about 1 inch in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are slightly golden.
  • Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
