  • 2 pieces ripe mangos, diced Make sure your mangos are ripe for the best flavor.
  • 1 piece red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 piece jalapeño, seeded and minced Adjust the heat level by varying the amount used.
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped Can be substituted with mint for a different flavor.
  • 2 pieces limes, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced mangos, red onion, jalapeño, red bell pepper, and cilantro.
  • Squeeze the lime juice over the top and season with salt to taste.
  • Mix gently until combined.
  • Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store any leftover mango salsa in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Best enjoyed within 2-3 days to maintain freshness.
